You’d think I was born with a camera in my hand.

My journey in filmmaking spans nearly a decade, beginning in high school when I first felt the urge to capture moments in life—be it spring breaks, prom nights, or the people who bring me joy (all this can be found if you search long enough on my Youtube Channel). With over 45 professional gigs under my belt, I’m excited to continue this adventure, aiming to capture countless more beautiful stories.

My films blend simplicity with a touch of uniqueness, capturing the essence of each couple’s love story. I strive to create original pieces that reflect what makes your relationship special. You might notice some unique elements in my films, like nostalgic camcorder footage, heartfelt speaking montages, playful edits, or even those hilarious one-liners from your uncle who’s been over served (yes, I’ll definitely include those).

Hi! I’m Emily!

Dog lover to the core—so much so that I have my own little chicken nugget named Charlie. Born a Hoosier, but let’s be real, I was destined to be a Texan. Been living my best Dallas life for almost three years. Music runs through my veins—if it’s a pop anthem, I’m probably screaming it in my car (Getaway Car is my current #1 Taylor song).

My current lineup because you obviously were curious is an iced hazelnut latte with 2% milk (I’m back on dairy milk baby). If I were a cocktail, I’d be a spicy margarita with an ungodly amount of Tajín. Introverted extrovert—quiet when I want, but give me good convo and I’ll chat your ear off. Ultimate hype woman? That’s me. You feel like a 10? I’ll make you feel like an 11. No questions asked.

Let’s take a trip down memory lane…

I shot my first wedding in 2016 with a borrowed digital camera, negative experience, and probably way more confidence than I should’ve had. I tagged along with my mom, who’s a wedding photographer, and thought, “Well, this is fun!”- and I haven’t stopped since (well, except for a little break in 2020, but we all know why…). Over the last 10 years, I’ve met some amazing people and captured so many unique love stories - each one completely different from the last. Growth doesn’t happen overnight, and let’s be honest, it takes time to get the hang of this. I definitely don’t know everything yet, but damn, I’m glad I’ve made some steps since that first wedding. I like to showcase my older films to emphasize the longevity of my shooting style. Though technology has significantly improved, the memories are still timeless.

Peek into my Life!

  • Concerts and live music are my ultimate form of entertainment. You’ll usually find me fighting for my life in those pre-sale queues.

  • By day, I work full-time in Influencer Marketing, and honestly, there’s a ton of crossover between that world and filmmaking.

  • When I’m not working, you’ll catch me exploring Dallas or walking Charlie along the Katy Trail.

  • Thank God for friends who share the same interests - I pretty much drag them along for all of the above.

  • Oh, and I just got engaged in March 2024! We’re planning the big day for June 2026… EEK!
